Reboot Your Desk (Polycom) Phone Follow
If you're experiencing issues with phone functionality, IT may ask you to reboot your phone to see if that restores function. Some functionality issues may include buttons not working, callers cannot hear you, or perhaps you cannot dial out.
To perform a reboot on your desk phone, unplug the inbound ethernet (network) cable on the bottom of the phone. You may immediately plug it back in.
PLEASE NOTE it will temporarily cause a network outage for any computer or laptop connected in that networking loop (daisy chain).
The connection will be restored when the phone boots back up.
