Reset or Unlock Your Password Follow
There are many valid reasons for wanting to reset your password; you may have received a Stanley Email Notice that it's going to expire, you may have reason to believe your password has been compromised, or you may be tired of typing that same ol' password. If so, please follow these simple steps to change your password. The password requirement specifications are also shown below.
Reset Your Windows Password
If you are already logged in to your computer, please follow these steps:
- Click the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys on your keyboard
- Select Change a Password
- Enter your current password and then your desired new password in the specified fields
If you are not yet logged into Windows and have enrolled in DUO Multifactor Authentication (MFA), please follow these steps:
- At the login screen, click the Reset Password / Unlock Account link which is found below the normal login prompt
- From here you can choose to either Reset or Unlock your Windows Password
- You may be prompted to utilize DUO MFA again during this process and you should receive an email stating you have changed your password.
If you receive an email stating you have changed your password and you HAVE NOT, please immediately contact the HP Support line at 336-883-3014 as your account may have been compromised.
