Issues with Secure Print | Ricoh Streamline NX Secure Print | SLNX Secure Print Follow
Issues with retrieving or not seeing print jobs on the Ricoh devices when using Secure Print?
- Has the PC been rebooted recently? More often than not, rebooting the PC will resolve the issue with Secure Print.
- The PC you sent the print job from, when printing to Secure Print, must stay powered on and connected to the network until the print job is retrieved/released and printed successfully from a Ricoh device.
- Are you using a laptop connected to VPN/Netmotion or WiFi/hotspot? If so, Secure Print does not currently work with VPN connections. You must be docked/hardwired to the network to use Secure Print.
- Please note, IT has come across a few users that are docked/hardwired, but still connected to the VPN/Netmotion and/or WiFi, which causes issues with Secure Print and other applications.
- For some users, even though the "RICOH Streamline NX PC client" was installed on their PC, the icon isn't showing in the system tray. Once the client was launched from the Start Menu/Program List, the icon showed in the system tray and they could then print to the SLNX Secure Print printer and release the jobs on a Ricoh device successfully.
- If you don't see the below icon in your System Tray (bottom right, near the date and time), please launch it from the Start Menu/Program List and try to print again.
